1. Service Description

Sheetsbase is an AI-powered assistant for Google Sheets. We provide tools for formula generation, explanation, and a directory of spreadsheet shortcuts.

2. Google User Data & Privacy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Usage: We only use Google user data to provide and improve the features of Sheetsbase.
  • Protection: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your Google user data.
  • Privacy: Your use of Sheetsbase is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

3. AI and Machine Learning Practices

Sheetsbase uses AI models (via OpenAI) to generate formulas and explanations.

  • Third-Party Processing: By using these features, you acknowledge that the specific snippets or formula context you provide will be sent to OpenAI for processing.
  • No Model Training: We do NOT use your data, spreadsheet content, or Google user data to train, retrain, or improve any AI/ML models.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Pro features require an active subscription or a one-time lifetime license.
  • Payments are securely processed by Stripe.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No Refunds: All payments are final. We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused credits.

5. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

AI is experimental technology. Sheetsbase provides suggestions "as is." While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. Users are solely responsible for validating AI-generated formulas before applying them to critical spreadsheets.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use Sheetsbase for any illegal purposes or to attempt to circumvent our usage limits or security measures.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sheetsbase and its creators are not liable for any data loss, financial loss, or spreadsheet errors resulting from the use of the extension or its AI-generated content.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms or the service at any time. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
